How often should you do bootcamp workouts?

Boot camps are popping up all over the world, but they don’t always follow military workout routines headed by drill sergeants. In fact, without any proper standardized definitions within fitness industry a “boot camp” can refer anything from an intense exercise routine 3 days per week at home or in a gym that helps you lose weight if done correctly and depending on how much time and energy one invested into their workouts!

Bootcamp workouts are popular for a reason- they work! A genuine boot camp incorporates resistance and cardio training exercises that will challenge your entire body. It may come with many different routines, usually requiring little equipment, so you are constantly being pushed in new ways while also getting accountability from others during these tough moments of failure or success— something we can’t always depend on when exercising alone at home.

The camaraderie created by going through an intense workout together makes this type of exercise much more exciting than simply working out solo because there is somebody else looking over our shoulder asking, “how did I do?” If anything, 9+ calories per minute were burned.

So, 9+ calories per minute, how often should you do them?

You should aim for 150 minutes each week of moderate intensity workouts if you want to lose weight, but it is important that your body has time between intense sessions or 2 days will be too much. When doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT), you burn more calories than normal because they are shorter in length with less rest; accordingly, however, make sure this is not overdone as there may not always be enough recovery periods available due to the demanding nature these types of exercises pose!

Try our HIIT Tabata Class at Perfect Form.

Our Tabata is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) routine that will help you burn fat and put on muscle mass while getting faster, stronger—in just 60 minutes! It alternates between 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 restful moments for 4 total minute long cycles. This type of workout can be modified to suit any fitness level, so do not shy away from giving it a try because your time constraints may allow only one or two sessions per week depending upon how much free evenings/weekends there are to make this work.

The idea of a Tabata workout is to create an intense, but quick routine that will help you burn fat and put on muscle mass. This class also gets students faster or stronger than other types of workouts while doing so!
